I have a background in fashion and design and am passionate about sustainability and ethically sourced, local products.
Having grown up in beautiful Swaledale in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, I love nature and the in-numerous, natural greens of that part of the country.
I wanted to do something interesting and different with the wool the sheep provide us with and came up with the concept of Creating Wool Art.

Harriet’s unique felt artworks capture her love for the Yorkshire Dales. Her work is inspired by her rural childhood, which she spent exploring the local landscapes and wildlife.
The felt artworks she produces are made from 100% sustainable wool and use a combination of traditional techniques; wet felting to make her “canvas” base, followed by intricate needle felting to add depth and character with finer details.
